| 摘要 | [Objectives] To investigate the effects of Ardisia gigantifolia extract on oxidative stress and apoptosis in pancreatic cancer AsPC-1 cells. [Methods] MTT assay was used to detect the inhibitory effects of different concentrations (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 μg/mL) of A. gigantifolia extract on the proliferation of AsPC-1 cells after 48 h treatment, and the half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) was calculated; Transwell assay was employed to evaluate the effects of the extract on cell migration and invasion; intracellular superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) level were measured using commercial kits to reflect the oxidative stress status. [Results] A. gigantifolia extract significantly inhibited the proliferation of AsPC-1 cells (IC50 = 5.805 μg/mL), reduced their migration and invasion abilities, enhanced SOD activity, and decreased the oxidative stress level. [Conclusions] A. gigantifolia extract enhances SOD activity in pancreatic cancer AsPC-1 cells, reduces ROS levels, and induces apoptosis, thereby exerting an inhibitory effect on the viability of AsPC-1 cells. |
