Expression of TRIM15 Protein and Clinical Significance in Breast Cancer

摘要 [Objectives]To obtain the expression level of TRIM15 protein in breast cancer and adjacent normal tissues,the relationship with pathological features and clinical significance.[Methods]Imunohistochemistry was used to study the expression of TRIM15 protein in breast cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues,42 cases of breast cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues provided by Wuhan Shuangxuan Biotechnology Co.,Ltd.,and 28 cases of breast cancer tissues and 7 normal tissues from patients with postoperative pathological diagnosis of primary breast cancer from February to April in 2023,and the correlation between expression and tumor pathological characteristics were analyzed based on clinical data.The expression level of TRIM15 in different cancer types were analyzed by Timer 2.0 database,the expression differences of TRIM15 in breast cancer and normal breast tissues were analyzed by TCGA database,and the prognosis of breast cancer patients with high and low expression of TRIM15 was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier Plotter database.The STRING database and BioGRID database were used to get the interacting proteins of TRIM15,and the Coexpedia database was used to query the biological processes in which TRIM15 may be involved.[Results]Imunohistochemistry results:The expression level of TRIM15 protein was higher in breast cancer tissues than normal tissues,and the high expression of TRIM15 was associated with lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis,TNM stage and Ki67,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Bioinformatics analysis result:TRIM15 expresses were higher in breast cancer tissues,and the prognosis of patients with the high-expression TRIM15 was poor.TRIM15 may involve in many biological processes such as cell apoptosis,autophagy and migratin.[Conclusions]The expression level of TRIM15 protein in breast cancer tissues increases,the high expression is highly correlated with the proliferation and metastasis of breast cancer,high-expression TRIM15 suggests a poor prognosis.TRIM15 may participate in the oncogenesis and tumor progression of breast cancer by affecting the proliferation,migration and apoptosis of breast cancer cells.
