摘要 |
In recent years, the area dedicated to cotton cultivation in eastern Henan Province has experienced a continuous decline. Developing efficient multi-cropping systems for cotton and increasing the multiple cropping index represent effective strategies to stabilize the cotton planting area and enhance the income of cotton farmers. This paper presents an overview of intercropping systems and the benefits associated with cotton rotation and intercropping practices. Specifically, it discusses the "early maturing cotton-wheat" rotation system, the "cotton-watermelon" intercropping system, the "cotton-Dutch bean" intercropping system, and the "early maturing cotton-peanut-garlic" intercropping system. |
